Get to know her…

Kristin is a Hagerstown MD native and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2002. In 2008, she decided to shift her focus and left the industry to pursue her education in Business Management & Psychology/Marketing at Frostburg State University.

As the Owner of Kaptivated Kulture, she is a Marketing Powerhouse. Kris works passionately at cultivating client relationships by providing creative and strategic branding solutions that drive direct business growth within their business.

With over 8 years of experience specializing in Social Media Marketing, Communications and Management, Kristin believes in the power of community and connection. She has reignited her enthusiasm for the beauty industry with an open mind about her future as a beauty professional. For now, she is the energized smiling face that greets you and supports your salon experience. She has a real passion for people!

Kristin loves creating new experiences by exploring new cities with her beautiful daughters and is always down to enjoy a good taco! She enjoys vibing with great music and dances to the beat of her own drum!

We’re excited to formally introduce and announce Kenedy Gardenhour to the JAGGER | JAMES SALON team as a full-time Assistant | Apprentice.

Get to know her…

Entering JAGGER | JAMES as an assistant, Kenedy has demonstrated early, the qualities of a focused and reliable team member. She has shown her dedication to follow through with her goals as having recently received her Business degree from Hagerstown Community College in 2023. As well as being currently enrolled in THE | Apprenticeship program at JAGGER | JAMES under the guidance of Education Director Loree Wesley. 

Her belief system is how you choose to make a living is how you choose to make a life. The importance of “loving what you do” has influenced her decision to pursue a career in the hair industry.

With excitement, her desire is to make a positive impact through building confidence and self-expression. Growing up on a local family orchard her work ethic and sincere passion as a team player is evident. She has always loved the art of makeup, hair and skin. Kenedy enjoys reading mysteries, exploring local coffee shops, live music with hopes to travel and learn through those experiences.

The Appointment

JAGGER | JAMES SALON thanks you for scheduling an appointment with our team and for allowing us to host you in our space. To ensure your experience is relaxed and enjoyable, we ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment(s) to receive our complete service.

The Delayed Arrival

JAGGER | JAMES SALON will do our best to accommodate any unexpected delays/emergencies that may occur; however, it may be necessary to either abbreviate your appointment, or you may be asked to reschedule. Anyone arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled appointed time will be considered a “NO SHOW” and subject to the cancellation policy.

The Cancellation

Your appointment is very important to our entire salon team. We have a standard 24-hour cancellation policy. We ask that if it is necessary to cancel or reschedule any appointment(s) that you provide us with a 24-hour notice. This will enable our salon team to adjust their schedules accordingly, and accommodate on our waiting list. The cancellation fees listed below will need to be honored at the time guests reschedule the next appointment.

  • Less than a 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved service(s) amount.
  • “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service(s) amount.

As a courtesy, at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time, JAGGER | JAMES SALON will text and/or email to confirm the date and time. If we are unable to reach you and are only able to leave a message, or cannot reach you at all, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and confirm your appointment time during our business hours.

The Service

JAGGER | JAMES SALON is committed to providing an outstanding experience to all of our guests with each and every service. If you are dissatisfied, we ask that you contact us within 7 days of your appointment so that we may reschedule you at no charge. Any concerns reported after 7 days from the original appointment date will be considered a new service and charged accordingly.

The Goods

JAGGER | JAMES SALON hopes that you are pleased with your purchase. However, we will be happy to offer an exchange of your purchase for salon retail credit with a valid receipt, if returned within 15 days of the purchase date.

The Setting

JAGGER | JAMES SALON is a non-smoking establishment. The salon is an environment which is not childproofed (scissors, chemicals, hot tools, etc.) *Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are NOT permitted in the salon unless they have a scheduled appointment.

The Payment

JAGGER | JAMES SALON accepts ApplePay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cash, or Personal Checks with proper identification. Please note, there will be a $30 return check fee.
